In a highly contested matchup, Rockmart High School emerged victorious with a 34-24 win over Adel Cook High School. The Hornets started off strong, taking a 14-3 lead in the second quarter. But the Adel Cook offense was able to respond, keeping the game close heading into the fourth quarter, trailing 28-16. Despite the Adel Cook offense’s best efforts, Rockmart was able to hold on for the win.

Perry earns stressful win over Fayetteville Starrs Mill

In a thrilling matchup, Perry High School emerged victorious over Fayetteville Starrs Mill High School, 28-24. Fayetteville Starrs Mill started strong, taking a 10-0 lead after the first quarter, but Perry clawed back and took a 7-10 lead into the second quarter. By the end of the third quarter, Fayetteville Starrs Mill had regained the lead, 24-21. Perry, however, put on a show in the fourth quarter, outscoring Fayetteville Starrs Mill 7-0 to seal the win.

Marietta Walton claims victory against Kingsland Camden County

On Dec. 1, Marietta Walton High School notched a win against Kingsland Camden County High School in a Georgia high school football game, 41-25. After a tight battle, Fairburn Creekside High School emerged victorious, defeating Jefferson High School 28-17 in a hard-fought Georgia high school football match on Dec. 1. The Saints opened a slim 14-7 lead at the half and held off a late rally by the Cavaliers to secure the win.
