Streetsboro sprints past Ashtabula Edgewood

The Streetsboro girls soccer team showed impressive defensive play and tenacity en route to a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Ashtabula Edgewood on Oct. 14. The team was able to take advantage of attacking opportunities as well, providing a well-rounded effort.

The Streetsboro defense worked well right from the start, limiting Ashtabula Edgewood’s ability to create significant chances. This strong play continued throughout the game and allowed the Streetsboro side to keep control of the game.

Similarly, Streetsboro’s offense showed real promise, taking advantage of its attacking opportunities and finding the back of the net three times. The side was able to capitalize on open space, creating several scoring chances that, when converted, gave them the lead.
