Salford City FC and Peterborough United FC Share Exciting 4-4 Draw at The Peninsula Stadium

It was a brilliant matchup all the way until the shootout at the end.

Coming off a 5-0 victory against Cambridge United FC, Peterborough United FC drew against Salford City FC 4-4 at The Peninsula Stadium on 14 November, 2023.

The match between Peterborough United FC and Salford City FC at The Peninsula Stadium on November 14, 2023, ended in an exciting 4-4 draw.

In the first half, Curtis Tilt scored for Salford City FC in 4th minute, assisted by Elliot Watt. Joel Randall equalized 16 minutes later for Peterborough United FC and followed up with the assist for Ephron Mason-Clark’s goal two minutes later.

The second half saw another goal for Salford City FC from Curtis Tilt, assisted by Elliot Watt in the 54th minute. Peterborough United FC were then hit with an own goal from Josh Knight in the 61st minute. Yellow cards were handed out to Peterborough United FC’s Archie Collins for a foul in the 59th minute and Romoney Crichlow-Noble for another foul in the 82nd minute.

Extra time saw the match-winner for Salford City FC, Stephen Mallan, found the back of the net in the 104th minute with the assist from Matthew Lund, but it was not enough for them to make a victory.

Next up, Peterborough United FC will face off against Exeter City FC on 18 November, 2023 at St. James’ Park.
