On 14 November 2023, Grimsby Town FC played host to Slough Town FC at Blundell Park with the home team claiming a resounding 7-2 win. In the first half of the match, Rekeil Pyke opened the scoring for the hosts in the 7th minute, before Danny Rose added a second with an assist from Niall Maher in the 16th minute. Slough Town responded with two goals, courtesy of Tyrese Dyce in the 20th minute, with Matt Lench providing an assist, and David Ogbonna in the 34th minute. Grimsby Town’s Arthur Gnahoua and Slough Town’s Tyrese Dyce were both given yellow cards for fouls during the half.
