Jefferson shuts out Covington Eastside

The Jefferson Dragons put on a defensive clinic, shutting out the Covington Eastside Eagles 35-0 in a Georgia high school football matchup on Nov. 2.

The Dragons’ defense held strong throughout the game, allowing no points in the second, third, and fourth quarters. Jefferson’s offense also proved to be a force, jumping out to a 7-0 lead in the second quarter and extending it to a 14-0 lead at halftime. The Dragons continued to dominate in the third quarter, pushing their lead to 35-0.
