Upper Sandusky edges Norwalk in snug affair

A rugged contest ended with the right result as far as Upper Sandusky was concerned after Saturday’s 60-59 decision on March 7 in Ohio boys high school basketball.

A 14-9 scoring edge in the final quarter fueled the Rams’ defeat of the Truckers.

The Truckers enjoyed a 50-46 lead over the Rams to start the fourth quarter.

Had this been a prize fight, Norwalk would’ve earned the judge’s decision at halftime, with a 36-27 lead on Upper Sandusky.

The Truckers showed they were ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 20-14 advantage over the Rams as the first quarter ended.
