Lincolnton Lincoln County comes to play in easy win over Washington-Wilkes

Lincolnton Lincoln County showed top form to dominate Washington-Wilkes during a 41-14 victory in Georgia high school football on Oct. 7.

Lincolnton Lincoln County opened with a 14-7 advantage over Washington-Wilkes through the first quarter.

Defense ruled the second quarter as the Red Devils and the Tigers were both scoreless.

Neither team could gain any advantage in the third quarter.

The Red Devils held on with a 20-0 scoring edge in the final quarter.

Last season, Washington-Wilkes and Lincolnton Lincoln County squared off on Oct. 22, 2021 at Washington-Wilkes High School.

In recent action on Sept. 23, Washington-Wilkes faced off against Sparta Hancock Central and Lincolnton Lincoln County took on Augusta ARC on Sept. 23 at Augusta ARC.
