Coming off a 2-0 victory against Manchester United FC, Newcastle United FC defeated West Ham United FC 5-1 at London Stadium on 05 April, 2023.
The first half of Newcastle United FC’s match against West Ham United FC was thrilling, with the away team scoring two unanswered goals,followed by a goal from West Ham’s Kurt Zouma which brought them back into the match. Unfortunately for West Ham, their comeback attempt was thwarted as Newcastle’s Callum Wilson was issued a yellow card in the 42nd minute.
In the second half of the match, Newcastle United FC truly took off with the team scoring two more goals. Callum Wilson scored his second goal in the 46th minute with Jacob Murphy providing the assist. Newcastle’s Alexander Isak sealed their 5-1 victory with a goal in the 82nd minute. Two yellow cards were issued by the referee during the second half, one to Joelinton from Newcastle in the 52nd minute and one to Flynn Downes from West Ham in the 88th minute. In the end, Newcastle United FC emerged victorious in an electrifying 5-1 match.
