Piqua overcame a first-quarter deficit in a 28-7 win over Troy in an Ohio high school football matchup on Sept. 4.

Troy showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 7-0 advantage over Piqua as the first quarter ended.

The Indians’ offense moved in front for a 21-7 lead over the Trojans at halftime.

Neither squad could muster points in the third quarter.
