Too close for comfort, Carroll strains past Chaminade-Julienne 20-17

It wasn’t exactly Lewis & Clark in uncharted territory, but Carroll had to survive its share of thorns while shedding Chaminade-Julienne 20-17 in an Ohio high school football matchup.

Carroll’s kept the advantage through the fourth quarter with a 13-3 scoring edge over Chaminade-Julienne.

Each offense authored its Rip Van Winkle imitation, napping through barren second and third quarters.

Chaminade-Julienne started on steady ground by forging a 14-7 lead over Carroll at the end of the first quarter.
