Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC Draw 0-0 in Physical Match with Five Yellow Cards

Kepa Arrizabalaga, Alisson and the defenses were brilliant all match as they kept clean sheets.

Coming off a 2-0 loss against Aston Villa FC, Chelsea FC drew against Liverpool FC 0-0 at Stamford Bridge on 04 April, 2023.

Despite both teams’ best efforts, Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC ended their match in a hard-fought 0-0 draw. The first half saw Chelsea FC as the more dominant side, carving out numerous chances with their pressing play. However, both teams’ defense remained rock solid as they kept each other at bay.

At the start of the second half, Joël Matip of Liverpool FC was given a yellow card for a foul. Kostas Tsimikas and Curtis Jones of Liverpool also received yellow cards, followed by Mateo Kovačić of Chelsea who received the same punishment. Fabinho of Liverpool received another yellow card in the last 20 minutes of the game, but both teams were unable to break the deadlock. In the end, honours were even with both teams sharing a point.

Next up, Chelsea FC will face off against Wolverhampton Wanderers FC on 08 April, 2023 at Molineux Stadium. Last time the two teams met, Chelsea FC defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers FC 3-0.
