Trion overcomes Rome Model’s lead to earn win

Trion trailed at the end of the first quarter before rallying for a 28-7 win over Rome Model in a Georgia high school football matchup on Sept. 3.

Rome Model showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 7-0 advantage over Trion as the first quarter ended.

The Bulldogs kept a 14-7 halftime margin at the Blue Devils’ expense.

Trion jumped to a 21-7 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

The Bulldogs got the better of the fourth-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 7-0 edge.

In recent action on Aug. 20, Rome Model faced off against Calhoun Sonoraville.
