Defense dominated as Chillicothe pitched a 32-0 shutout of Columbus Walnut Ridge in Ohio high school football action on Sept. 3.

Chillicothe opened with a 2-0 advantage over Columbus Walnut Ridge through the first quarter.

The Cavaliers registered a 9-0 advantage at intermission over the Scots.

Chillicothe moved to a 12-0 lead heading into the final quarter.

The Cavaliers got the better of the final-quarter scoring, finishing the game in style with a 20-0 edge.

In recent action on Aug. 20, Chillicothe faced off against Ashville Teays Valley and Columbus Walnut Ridge took on Columbus Worthington Kilbourne on Aug. 20 at Columbus Worthington Kilbourne High School.
