An array of elements led to a knockout performance as Cedartown turned out the lights on Carrollton Central 39-7 for a Georgia high school football victory on Sept. 30.

Cedartown opened with a 6-0 advantage over Carrollton Central through the first quarter.

The Bulldogs’ offense darted in front for a 19-7 lead over the Lions at halftime.

Cedartown struck to a 33-7 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

There was no room for doubt as the Bulldogs added to their advantage with a 6-0 margin in the closing period.

The last time Cedartown and Carrollton Central played in a 34-7 game on Oct. 29, 2021.

Recently on Sept. 16, Carrollton Central squared off with Newnan Northgate in a football game.
