Loganville earns stressful win over Covington Eastside

The margin for error was so small it only piqued the anxiety, but Loganville didn’t mind, dispatching Covington Eastside 13-10 for a Georgia high school football victory at Loganville High.

The start wasn’t the problem for Covington Eastside, as it began with a 7-6 edge over Loganville through the end of the first quarter.

The Red Devils’ offense darted in front for a 13-10 lead over the Eagles at the intermission.

Each offense authored its Rip Van Winkle imitation, napping through barren third and fourth quarters.

In recent action on Sept. 16, Loganville faced off against Winder-Barrow and Covington Eastside took on McDonough Ola on Sept. 16 at Covington Eastside High School.
