Thomasville blazes early victory trail over Albany Monroe

Speedy Gonzales wasn’t as quick to start as Thomasville, which shifted into high gear in a hurry to take control of Albany Monroe 25-14 for a Georgia high school football victory on Sept. 28.

Thomasville opened with a 25-14 advantage over Albany Monroe through the first quarter.

Defense ruled the second, third and fourth quarters as the Bulldogs and the Tornadoes were both scoreless.

In recent action on Sept. 16, Albany Monroe faced off against Cuthbert Randolph Clay and Thomasville took on Tifton Tift County on Sept. 16 at Thomasville High School.
