South Webster trips Symmes Valley in tenacious tussle 56-54

A rugged contest ended with the right result as far as South Webster was concerned after Wednesday’s 56-54 decision at South Webster High on February 26 in Ohio boys high school basketball action.

South Webster hummed like a well-oiled machine through the final quarter, extending the lead with an 18-15 advantage in the frame.

The Vikings came from behind to grab the advantage heading to the fourth quarter over the Jeeps 39-38.

South Webster’s shooting moved to a 27-25 lead over Symmes Valley at halftime.

The Vikings started on steady ground by forging a 13-10 lead over the Jeeps at the end of the first quarter.
