Rome finds its footing in sprinting past Acworth Allatoona

Rome scored early and often to roll over Acworth Allatoona 42-19 in Georgia high school football on Sept. 23.

The Wolves registered a 28-7 advantage at intermission over the Buccaneers.

Rome thundered to a 35-13 lead heading into the final quarter.

The Wolves hummed like a well-oiled machine through the fourth quarter, extending the lead with a 7-6 advantage in the frame.

In recent action on Sept. 9, Rome faced off against Mableton Pebblebrook and Acworth Allatoona took on Powder Springs Hillgrove on Sept. 9 at Acworth Allatoona High School.
