Storm warning: Columbus Carver unleashes full fury on Atlanta Hapeville Charter

An array of elements led to a knockout performance as Columbus Carver turned out the lights on Atlanta Hapeville Charter 28-6 on Sept. 22 in Georgia football.

The Tigers’ offense darted in front for a 7-6 lead over the Hornets at the intermission.

Offense was nothing but a rumor in the first and third quarters, as neither squad scored.

Conditioning showed as the Tigers outscored the Hornets 21-0 in the final quarter.

Last season, Columbus Carver and Atlanta Hapeville Charter faced off on Nov. 19, 2021 at Columbus Carver High School.

In recent action on Sept. 9, Atlanta Hapeville Charter faced off against Albany Dougherty and Columbus Carver took on Macon Northeast on Sept. 9 at Macon Northeast High School.
