Fort Recovery casts spell on St. Henry 36-34

A rugged contest ended with the right result as far as Fort Recovery was concerned after Saturday’s 36-34 decision in an Ohio girls basketball matchup.

Fort Recovery withstood St. Henry’s last-gasp comeback in the final period to eventually earn the win.

The Indians broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 34-26 lead over the Redskins.

St. Henry proved it would be a force to be reckoned with by building an 18-17 advantage over Fort Recovery at the half.

The two teams dueled to an even start, with the Indians and the Redskins settling for an 8-8 first-quarter knot.
