Doylestown Chippewa shrugs off deficit to defeat Ashland Mapleton 27-8

Doylestown Chippewa shook off a slow start and pulled away for a 27-8 win over Ashland Mapleton in an Ohio high school football matchup on August 20.

The Chipps remained on top of the Mounties through a scoreless third quarter.

The Chipps’ offense jumped to a 14-8 lead over the Mounties at the intermission.

The start wasn’t the problem for the Mounties, who began with an 8-0 edge over the Chipps through the end of the first quarter.
