Mantua Crestwood fell behind early but rebounded in the first quarter of a 28-7 win over Rootstown in Ohio high school football action on August 20.

Defense muted both offenses in a scoreless third quarter.

Mantua Crestwood’s offense darted to a 14-7 lead over Rootstown at the intermission.

Rootstown showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 7-0 advantage over Mantua Crestwood as the first quarter ended.
