Youngstown Ursuline escapes close call with Columbus Bishop Hartley 62-58

It wasn’t pretty, gut-tough wins usually aren’t, but Youngstown Ursuline wasn’t going for style points. A victory will do, and it was earned 62-58 over Columbus Bishop Hartley in an Ohio high school football matchup on August 19.

The Fighting Irish opened with a 27-20 advantage over the Hawks through the first quarter.

Youngstown Ursuline’s offense moved to a 41-34 lead over Columbus Bishop Hartley at the intermission.

The Hawks took the lead 51-48 to start the fourth quarter.

The clock was the only thing that stopped Youngstown Ursuline, which enjoyed the upper hand in a 14-7 fourth quarter, too.
