Bukayo Saka,Martinelli,Granit Xhaka and Jeffrey Schlupp kept the day interesting with their respective scores.
Coming off a 1-1 loss against Sporting CP, Arsenal FC defeated Crystal Palace FC 4-1 at Emirates Stadium on 19 March, 2023.
In the first half of the game, Arsenal FC prevailed against Crystal Palace, thanks to goals from Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. Martinelli opened the scoring after 28 minutes and Saka doubled the lead just before half-time. In the second half, Granit Xhaka extended Arsenal’s lead with a goal in the 55th minute, only to be cancelled out by a goal from Jeffrey Schlupp for Crystal Palace a few minutes later. However, Saka once again sealed the result for Arsenal with a fourth goal, this time with an assist from Kieran Tierney in the 74th minute. James Tomkins of Crystal Palace was given a yellow card for a foul in the 59th minute, but it made no difference to the result.
Next up, Arsenal FC will face off against Leeds United FC on 01 April, 2023 at Emirates Stadium. Last time the two teams met, Arsenal FC defeated Leeds United FC 1-0.
