Prince George overcomes Mills Godwin in competitive affair 66-63

Prince George broke on top and refused to fold in holding off Mills Godwin 66-63 in a Virginia boys basketball matchup on January 18.

Prince George hummed like a well-oiled machine through the final quarter, extending the lead with a 37-30 advantage in the frame.

Mills Godwin came from behind to grab the advantage 33-29 at half over Prince George.

The start wasn’t the problem for the Eagles, who began with a 21-15 edge over the Royals through the end of the first quarter.
