Wrightsville Johnson County emerges from hole to defeat Dublin East Laurens

A deficit merely stoked the drama as Wrightsville Johnson County flashed past Dublin East Laurens 34-6 on Friday for a Georgia high school football victory on Sept. 16.

The start wasn’t the problem for Dublin East Laurens, as it began with a 6-0 edge over Wrightsville Johnson County through the end of the first quarter.

Neither team could dent the scoreboard in the second and third quarters.

The Trojans pulled off a stirring 34-0 final quarter to trip the Falcons.

In recent action on Sept. 2, Wrightsville Johnson County faced off against Warrenton Warren County and Dublin East Laurens took on Millen Jenkins County on Sept. 2 at Dublin East Laurens High School.
