Mt. Airy Habersham Central clips Cumming Forsyth Central in tight tilt

A tight-knit tilt turned in Mt. Airy Habersham Central’s direction just enough to squeeze past Cumming Forsyth Central 28-21 in a Georgia high school football matchup on Sept. 16.

Neither team dominated early as the two squads struggled evenly to a 14-14 tie through the first quarter.

The Raiders’ offense moved in front for a 28-14 lead over the Bulldogs at halftime.

Both teams were blanked in the third quarter.

The Bulldogs narrowed the gap 7-0 in the fourth quarter but it was too little, too late.
