Flexing muscle: Swainsboro tightens grip on Twin City Emanuel County Institute

Swainsboro stormed to a first-quarter lead and cruised to a 41-12 win over Twin City Emanuel County Institute in a Georgia high school football matchup on Sept. 16.

The Tigers’ offense jumped in front for a 21-6 lead over the Bulldogs at halftime.

Neither squad could muster points in the first and third quarters.

The clock was the only thing that stopped the Tigers, who enjoyed the upper hand in a 20-6 fourth quarter, too.

In recent action on Sept. 2, Twin City Emanuel County Institute faced off against Lincolnton Lincoln County and Swainsboro took on Hazlehurst Jeff Davis on Sept. 2 at Swainsboro High School.
