In the first half, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC’s Hwang Heechan scored an opener with an assist from Pedro Neto in the 7th minute, but Liverpool FC’s Alexis Mac Allister was then shown a yellow card for his foul in the 4th minute.
The second half saw Liverpool FC turning the tables and claiming the 3-1 victory over their opposition. Cody Gakpo powered home their first, with assists from Mohamed Salah in the 55th minute. Andrew Robertson then scored the clincher in the 85th minute, again with help from Salah. Wolverhampton Wanderers FC’s Nélson Semedo was also booked for time wasting in the 71st minute.
