Kenston earns narrow win over Riverside 52-47

A nook of opportunity was all that was needed and Kenston nabbed it to nudge past Riverside 52-47 in Ohio boys basketball on February 1.

Kenston hummed like a well-oiled machine through the final quarter, extending the lead with a 22-2 advantage in the frame.

Riverside enjoyed a 45-30 lead over Kenston to start the fourth quarter.

Riverside showed it was ready to play, using an early thrust to carve out a 24-18 advantage over Kenston as the first quarter ended.
