Man United tames Leeds United’s offense 2-0

Dominating defense was the calling card of Man United as it shut out Leeds United 2-0 on Feb. 12 in Premier League mens soccer action.

Both offenses were stymied without goals on either side in the first half.

Man United held on with a 2-0 scoring edge in the final half.

Leeds United’s defenders didn’t know what to do with Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, who drove them crazy with 1 goal each to spark Man United’s 2-0 victory on Feb. 12 at Elland Road. It was a much-needed, wrecking-crew effort.

The players with the top assist for Man United were Luke Shaw and Wout Weghorst with 1 assist each. The assists came at a crucial time, and they pushed Man United forward to victory.
