Nerve-racking affair ends with Columbus St. Anne-Pacelli on top of Newnan Heritage

Columbus St. Anne-Pacelli didn’t flinch, finally repelling Newnan Heritage 67-65 for a Georgia boys basketball victory on Jan. 11.

The first quarter gave Columbus St. Anne-Pacelli a 31-20 lead over Newnan Heritage.

The Hawks trimmed the margin to make it 31-22 at the intermission.

Newnan Heritage showed its spirit while rallying to within 47-44 in the third quarter.

The Hawks rallied with a 21-20 advantage in the fourth quarter. However, the Vikings prevailed.
